Hello, my name is LeAnn Dahle. I am the principal of Sacred Heart School. As we begin our new school year, I would like to take this moment to thank our parish community for their commitment to Catholic Education for more than 125 years.
In 1886 the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus of Philadelphia, invited by Father Alexander Christie, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, agreed to build a school on the present site of the Treanor Campion Center or our current Parish Center.
Through the generosity of this parish community and those before us we have provided a Catholic Education to children of our parish community without charging tuition. This makes our school and parish very unique. We are the only Catholic parish in the Diocese of Winona that provides this gift to our children. Through the stewardship efforts of those who have gone before us and you, all may receive the gift of a Catholic Education.
The Beatitudes teach us, the blessed are those who receive from God an earthly fulfillment of prosperity, offspring, and long life. Sacred Heart School has been blessed with all these precious gifts. Thank you.
I have had all three of my children attend Sacred Heart at some point in their lives and all three have loved their time attending. The teachers are caring and so wonderful with all the students. We have enjoyed special events, field trips and concerts at school, conferences are helpful and it’s always easy to reach the principal or any of the staff with fast response time. Sacred Heart has made a big difference in our family’s life because of the love they give our kids.
